    Starting Weapons:
    -RH1: Bearded Axe, this strong axe has multiple attack points, allowing for unique combinations.
    -RH2: Greatbow (not like the one in Dark Souls), a very large bow that must be held horizontally to stabilize. Surprisingly, one may find mobility with this large bow, even if severely limited. Though bows are usually seen as a dexterous weapon, the size of this bow proves that strength is also key, since dexterity is non-existent.
    -LH1: Bearded Axe. (duel wield capabilities)
    -LH2: Assailant's Ward, this shield has a several protruding points, implying it has a more offensive status than a defensive.
    Starting Armor:
    -Similar to brigand's but VERY heavy and VERY poised.
    Starting Spells:
    -None
    Starting Stats:
    -Bandit on steroids, virtually no INT, DEX, FTH, or ATT. And STR, END, and VIT are extremely pumped.

    Why wouldn't the Ice Mage be a form of pyromancy? Just be removing heat rather then making it.

    It would be better to have Ice be the opposite of pyromancy which is the art of fire and using it. Magic would likely be the best path for ice than to create a sub-form of pryomancy or a whole new creation. Also crystal magic resembles ice in some ways

    Then possibly a sub branch of pyromancy created by rebels? We already know pyromancy isn't fire-exclusive due to spells like poison mist and iron flesh. And on that note could black flame be some kind of link between pyromancy and sorcery?

    Black flame is a mix between dark magic and pryomancy. My issue with making ice a sub branch would the it would be downplayed to a few spells maybe not very strong or it could up too op without any cost a player would. I went with magic because you would have to invest with int to use the powerful types of ice magic.

    From a gameplay perspective, it should probably go to miracles then since they seem to lack variety. Miracles: Buffs, Healing, Defensive Barriers, and Force-like. Sorcery, Buffs, "Arrow-like", Shields, Shotgun (Dark Bead), Piercing, Poise Breakers, and not to mention all of the Oolacile magic. Throwing Ice magic in there seems like overkill. So really I'm ok with Ice for pyromancy due to lore or for miracles just so they have types.

    Miracles would work but then it would need to fit in with a spiritual entity or some special use for one's faith in the game. My issue is that with pryomancy is that it can be used to make pryomancy for short heavy hits, and then use ice for weaker long range attacks.

    That's assuming Ice would be long range and weak. I was thinking more like ice balls or some sort of snow aoe effect like firestorm.

    I was thinking like Ice shards, a stamina reducing spell, a heavy anti-fire aura, even a wide range blast of pure cold damage that smacks you back.

    Ok, what if ice was a 4th type of magic, no stat reqs, and was made to combat pyromancy.

    Edit: Oh, especially since sorcery is drawn from the soul, it wouldn't make all that sense for sorcery to use, and because pryomancy is drawn from the user's energy, maybe it would make more sense to put it with necromancy, the control of "cold" lifeless corpses. (Emphasis on Cold)

    Should Ice be considered a dark branch of magic then, due to the idea of Fire vs Ice. Maybe it could be used by someone who wants the fire to fade.

    It could work like that to have Ice be a pure form opposite of fire like soul magic is the opposite of miracles in the game and lore with the purpose of putting out the flame.

    Actually I would like some sort of character that is addicted to some sort of painkillers. As a twist, the actual item being used wouldn't have an addictive quality but instead the character just can't stop using them due to the pain of being undead. They would actually be like nearly 100% hollow but be able to maintain control due to being constantly numb. Sadly either when they run out or build up a too strong tolerence to it, they go completly.

    There would also be an addict class that starts with a good amount of these items (In game effect, reduces all damage by 10% but hides health bar.) but if you go too long without using one of them, your save is deleted. Would be like a mix of a challenge run and just be another way to play the game.
