Builds with Unusual Weapons

I enjoy variety, and in my quest to make every weird build there is, I thought of the weapons that are hardly used. Seriously, it used to be so popular it annoyed me that everyone was using my favorite axe. Now it' s actually just the weapon I think looks the best out of all the str wweapons.

I always thought +15 heavy out damages lightning for all the Xbows, plus lightning bolts are more expensive.

From how far can you actually hit someone with that though?

Pretty far if you aim with the binoculars. Can't imagine it ever working for pvp though, unless you were closer.

The short sword aint bad for a lower level elemental weapon.

Sniper xbow has 5 more range than pharis, making it the longest ranged weapon in the game and absurd with hawk ring.

However, it takes an eternity to fire and can't lock on. The time between shots is a complete joke, and it can't 1 shot anybody (unless maybe you have PW + RTSR active, and even then a headshot wouldn't kill most builds though it would definitely scare them), so its use is entirely PvE or trolling with fog ring at extreme distances.

With binoculars + colored tape or something else that gives you "crosshairs" (do test firing then place the tape) you can land shots from pretty far away, but it isn't remotely viable for PvP no matter what you do. You're more likely to actually kill someone with an unbuffed broken sword.

I'm tempted to give it a go with PW + RTST + Fog + Hawk and try to headshot people in the forest from out of sight. Might get a few kills, though most of the time you'll just die .
