Maybe there should be an "Exiled" chat room then. Kind of like how i'm on another forum "clubrsx" (car forum for people who drive Rsx's) and there's an Ohio chat room for everyone in Ohio to talk about whatever. Just a thought, but sorry.

There is a skype Exiled Chat room which was quite active but has slowed to a crawl much like the rest of the forum. Yes, it is slow everywhere...not just here.

It is getting difficult to keep the energy and interest level up since so many are playing other games now. And we can't blame them...many of us have been doing this for a very long time. The only way to avoid boredom and burn-out is to do other thing for a while. But most return off and on and things pick up.

Guys, it will only get worse if you don't face the reality and make an effort to participate. We are at the down-side of this game and have 9 months before DS2 comes out.

There are those who are trying to keep things going by creating events. Sign-up for these events. Or be creative and suggest ideas that will help.

It takes a group effort to keep things going.

Its only like 20'C for me and i find that so hot

Damn, TooLeet! That is tough. Even Texan's suffer at high temps when the humidity kicks up. Unless they are from the Lake Amistad area.
We southern Texans can take 100+ but with one storm rolling through after another the humidity is high.

But...Oh!! Yeah!! The Desert in absolutely gorgeous full bloom!! And Wild Fire Season has been literally washed away!

It's usually 15 degrees hotter in the mill than outside. Plus the humidity. It's horrible in there. I stay nice and fit though because of it.

On the verge of quitting Dark Souls. It's seriously getting old. It's all the same anymore. Same builds. Everyone plays like morons. I had 10 people in a row bum rush me today before i could even eat grass. Then i get Bs'd. Then they pull out dark bead and shove it down my throat. I go to a different area and get summoned by gank squads. Over and over again. No one plays with honor. No one gives a turd. And the only people who care are the people on this forum, which you never run into unless it's on purpose, and even then it's hard because most of us (besides the little kids) work all day and have things to do. It was awesome a year ago but now it's stale.

Granted, you can play how you want to. That's the beauty of dark souls. But it gets real old when every person you fight is an idiot or a hacker. Ran into a legless dragon today with unlimited health. Right after that a guy invaded me, bowed, turned around and ran in the opposite direction like he wanted me to chase him. I just shook my head and jumped off the ledge. Ain't nobody got time for that. It's the same builds over and over. If someone is losing they automatically spam a spell or lagstab you. I had a guy earlier somehow manage to parry me and after parrying me the next frame my health was gone and i was on the ground. There was no riposte animation. The whole match was lagless until that point. It's not a big deal because we all have put up with lag this whole time, but it gets old when it happens match after match after match and there's no way of winning. 

It's getting boring and stale. And i'm about to call it quits until Dks2 comes out.

TooLeet, there is little that I can say to "soften" what you have said above because it is true and I understand.

Stick with the forum and join in on all the FC's that people are offering. Also, some are trying to keep things going with events...join up. It will help keep the forum going and as you said you can usually count on forum people to be a truly good lot.

Other then that there is definitely nothing wrong with playing other games for a while (even a long while) then coming back to DkS. Do what you need to do!

But you will be missed!! So, whatever you do stay with the forum...you are family now!!

You will always be Exiled as long as you wish and until DS2 comes out.

Have you considered organizing an event? I'll help with the grunt work!

if u still have problems with the random players and how then play theres something wrong,the randies in patch 1.5 were worse than the ones now, most setup duels at patch 1.5 adn still do, it's really something u gotta learn how 2 play against it can get boring vsing randies 2 I feel like the matches at most time go like. "counter bs after counter bs.

All it is, is backstab after *** backstab. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and leave myself open for Bs fishers. And it's always bites me in the *** and i get Bs'd. By then, it is too late for me to come back because i just get lag stabbed again. I cooled down and just got back on and every single match and i mean EVERY SINGLE MATCH was backstabbing. So i switch char's, put on a hornet ring, and bs fish myself. Alas, i get lag stabbed. Over and over again. And i played pre-patch. I've been playing for 2 years. I just never registered on the forum until recently. This is bull **** and i'm losing faith in the dark souls community. PVE is more fun than PVP anymore. Seriously. And that's horrible.

I'm so frustrated to the point i'm half tempted to sell the game. I've been a gamer my whole life. Since i've been able to play games and i'm 21 years old so it's been a long time and i've never been more frustrated with a gaming community than this. People have no answer for it when i tell them they're talentless and have to rely on a game mechanic that if used with lag can win you a match every time. I play so honorably i refuse to BS fish unless i'm angry. I've went months without even trying to BS because it doesn't prove anything. I'm done for a while. It's complete ********. All in the middle of this i've been trying to master big weapons, which is impossible when all you do is get bs'd. Not even bs'd. Lag stabbed. It's disgusting.
