I will be in the Painted World later today if anyone is interested in some fun! My friend will be playing my build off and on...so be kind!! She is totally new to gaming.


I started her out on Fallout3 yesterday (a more gentle beginning hahaha!!). She wants to play a bit more of Fallout3 but promises to "try" Dark Souls.  
I will "guide" her through the Burg later today.  

Figure about 5ish my time (CST) for the Painted World!!

I wasn't saying that. At least i didn't mean for it to come off like that.

It's just how people are talked to around this forum.

People see a join date/post count and assume that correlates with their know-how of Dark Souls. Which is very untrue, because i can hold my own regardless of the build i'm using.

Everyone on here is very good. I never had any trouble fighting people until i joined the forum. Which is exactly why i joined. I wanna get better and play against skilled players, not random scrubs.

But yeah, i didn't mean to come off in a "i'm better than everyone" manner because i know that's far from true.

To me u havent reall proven what u can actually pull off or how great u can be at dueling since u havent vs much that skilled players or i dont see u much in fc events.

I really just see u has an average dks dueler atm

TooLeet, I am not sure what is bothering you. I believe your skill has been recognized. Also, an offer of skills assistance is not an assumption of lack of skill. It is simply an offer if the need is there. Nothing more nothing less.

No one else as now or ever felt that an offer of assistance if needed was an assumption of lack of skill or an insult.

It is an intro the the cove and what is offered. You really need to take a chill pill, my friend. And read the posts more carefully.

Don't let anyone "push your buttons" (if that is the case) it usually leads to only negativity and butthurt. And accomplishes nothing of any real value.

You have more going for you then to go down that road.

I said many people suck with the zweih, even after using it for months. I have not fought you, thus I have little indication of your skill and so explain everything as if you do not know what your doing.

I do this to everyone who's knowledge in any given area is in any doubt, no offence is intended. I'm not being condecending or patronising.

It saves me having to explain it again, if it turns out they don't have the knowledge to understand a brief descrption (wether the description is necessary or not, I give it anyways, so any readers might benifit from our conversation.)


I make few, if any, assumptions on the skill/demeanor/knowledge/personality/ect. of anyone I have not met in that context specifically.

I wasn't commenting on your skill with my explination, simply erring on the side of caution and explaining anyways, because I didn't get a clear indication that you had the information I then expressed.

Actually, no. I don't know what movie that is. But I'm not much for TV or mainstream theater.

Sl 100 would be my guess unless they wanna try something else. I have a 60 and an 80 and a couple low level (sl 4 and 10) chars for my low level poops (haha!) and giggles!!

And good about the mad...it takes sooo much energy that is better spent goofing off!

I had to read over the OP a couple times as to figure out if you were saying i am familiar or i am not. I was confused. So much, i asked my girlfriend what she thought (she was sitting right next to me) and she thought the same thing i did.

But i understand it now.

And when i was talking about how people would just roll around me and not even make a move the whole match, i was basically saying people don't like to go near high poise, mid roll builds. Maybe not the mid roll part, but me mid rolling with the armor i had on (the armor you said i should use) indicated i had high poise.

Plus, the zweih in my hand didn't help.

I was saying people won't come near my zweih.

There was just a big difference of playstyles between my fast roll zweih build and mid roll, was all i was saying. Another misunderstanding. Damn internet.
