    It really is more about the expenses for me though. I'm currently on summer break and so have no income for about 2 more months. I'm having to ration off packets of ramen so that I won't go broke by the time my job starts back up. If I could afford that half a tank of gas, I'd already have been there and seen it pony02

    I wouldn't drive 2 Hours and waste fuel just to see Ponies either, you gotta draw a line somewhere .

    Can#t you go by train or bus ? That would be much cheaper .

    I don't think Pendant was saying anything about wether he wants this disease to be spread around or not .
    He was just surprised it hasn't already . :razz:

    I have already seen most of the Movie, it has a few good scenes and Twilight is actually pretty enjoyable, but it's a bad movie .

    Train I highly doubt. Never even heard of public transportation by train in my town. Bus, maybe, but I don't even know the routes in town, much less if there even are any routes between the two towns. Even if there were, it wouldn't be on my own schedule and being somewhere I'm not familiar with I'd feel better knowing I could come and go as I please instead of waiting around or being rushed by things.

    Germany is connected through a huge Train system. It's pretty easy to catch a Train from the North all the Way to Bavaria or even Austria, maybe you have to change the Train 3 Times tops .

    I guess it's true what they say, Americas Towns are really far apart .

    If that's the case you have no other choice than your Car bounce

    I would rather have a Spanish class, it's a much more useful Language . What country speaks Latin anyway ?

    I think it's more the fact that, outside of heavily urban areas, trains have fallen out as a means of regular transportation.  The towns aren't far, like I said, in a car I could make it in an hour and a half.  If there was a train system it would likely be less than half that.  We just don't have the system in place because nobody takes trains in America outside of subways in the big cities.  I can't find a clip, but there's even a joke about it on Family Guy where they try to rob a train in a crazy "get rich quick" scheme, just to find out they're the only people on the train they're trying to rob.

    EDIT: Oh, and Reaper is totally right. Outside of the major urban centers (mostly in the North) public transportation sucks **** in America.

    Yeah, Germany doesn't have many non-urban Areas like South Bavaria (the Southmost Area on the border to Austria) it's awesome there, so many Mountains .

    I lurk more than anything Marino. I like the show but I am not a real hardcore fan of the series outside the show and the mane 6...which might be 5 now that Twilight is now princess.

    That the Series might become "Princess Twilight and Friends", EG is already a solo Adventure (Spike just jumped after her) for Twilight and she already lost most of her flaws in Season 3-
    No...i'm not doing this again, I don#t want to think about Twilight anymore . It might crush what hope i still have left for S4 .
    At least Spike is finally awesome in Equestria Girls .
