I'll admit it's not too high on my priority list, but it has seemed like the one to get into the series on, at least for me. I don't do well with scary or even semi-unnerving situations, and having all my friends say that Infinite feels more like Half-life than a horror game has made me more open to giving the series another shot. But, you know...money

Res will get there eventually, sadly .
These days i'm always waiting for the price to drop, i think you should give Bioshock 1 a chance, it's only 10 Bucks now and it's better than Infinite in every regard (except Graphics and the Gameplay is pretty much the same) especially the Story and setting are so much more interesting and twisted .
But it's definately darker than Infinite from what i can tell .
