What class are you going for? vote here :D

I'll be probably going for a STR lore seeker, like a viking bard. 

Same as Sargerus I'll be going STR to start off with, most likely Warrior or an equivalent class.

I'll throw a few points into Int and Fai too just for Dialogue options and eventually this will become my test character with 40-50 in all useful stats.

Every class is going to be able to get that stuff anyway. I'd rather start with half decent equipment then that crap.

As I see it, sorcerer is just if you want to be almost purely ranged from the start to finish of the game. Why anyone would really choose that outside of challenge, I'm not sure

I started as royalty in ds and sorcerer in dks cause that's just how I play i guess but I might just pick the one with the coolest armor cause I love me some pretty armor :x

I'm picking whatever gets me the Longsword first. If it's not a starting weapon, then probably Warrior/Whatever is replacing Warrior.

Hunter. My Platinum toons for DeS & DkS were both Hunters. I prefer to play behind the bow for the first playthrough. It gives you time to watch and figure out enemy aggro patterns.

Is there pyromancy in dark souls 2?

I just like to see stuff lights up personally

As awesome as magic looks and as much as I love being a caster... I have to give myself a run that will be interesting and fresh for me.

I'm going with hunter. The bow mechanics have been changed- faster shooting and shooting while on the move. I HAVE to giive it a go. Also I've never had a build which was focused on ranged. I've have builds using bows (not that successfully I admit), but one focused on it has never come up. I frankly look forward to giving it a go

going with cleric, which hopefully starts with a halberd and a talisman.

I'm going for a dex build my first time and will probably spend a few points in int and/or faith for some utility spells. Hopefully i can find a katana pretty early on, but if i still have to kill an npc for it then i'm in bad luck.

I started with wanderer in both DeS and DK, so wanderer.
He probably will be using lunar sorcery in high SL.
