If you're a Sunbro, you can put your summoning sign down. If you help the host kill a boss you receive a Sunlight Medal since there was a Sunbro in your team, that Sunbro being you.
You can also farm the Sunlight Maggots in the Lost Izalith Shortcut for them. As long as you've beaten the Ceaseless Discharge and have placed the Lordvessel you can access it.

So much i know :p But i have tried for 3 hours now and only being summoned like 4 times :s
