How do you choose your avatars?

been looking at members avatars recently and find them really interesting. just wondering at your reasons for choosing the pics that represent you on this forum. do they represent an aspect of your personality or are they just from some movie/ manga that you like? or maybe both?

I just chose it because I had seen the picture before and found it funny, it's very apt for me too

i grew up watching mazinger z.

I want to let people know I am both a Dark Souls fan, and a nerdy Star Wars super nerd who nerds out and has no life...I'm very lame you see.

Because I love Warhammer. And the Chosen look is part of the inspiration for my main guy in Dark Souls.

On topic, my avatar is a portrait of the good Sir Winston Churchill of course. You've probably already figured that out before I wrote this though...

Mine is from one of my best Dark Souls moments....the time I dropped 1,000 prism stones to see if I could find some sort of secret color. If you look real closely you can see my character behind all the shimmer.

i tend to like off- beat, edgy movies. certain scenes and dialouge just stay with me.

Because its easy to find in google and the Japanese guy/girl who made this is excellent at drawing

I love japanese stuff and one of my favorite anime is Cowboy Bebop especially Spike Spiegel which I find looks very similar to me and has alot of things in common with my personality.

V for Vendetta is my favorite movie. So, that is my Avvy for everything. During Christmas, I add a Santa hat to the pic.

Mine is a pic I took and doctored of the freaky Giant Koala in Victoria. We love making giant things over here - We've got massive versions of a sheep, a banana and a prawn (amongst other things) dotted around the country. The koala just happens to be one of the lamest and always makes me laugh.

Chose something that not only reflected my thinking but also something a like, Cecil Harvey or Kenshin Himura are my usual avatars.
