Tank build.

Hey guys, gonna start a new char now and i really want to go with a tank build for pvp. Can take a lot of damage but also give it! Any ideas for a build?

By tank, do you mean mid-roller?

 Hey, I know this may not be what you're looking for but this build is an example of how you can get tankiness while maintaining mobility with the RoFaP/Havel's ring combo. I do have a set up for a str build that has fairly good defences, but i'll have to make it up again for you.

Right. Here it is, fairly solid while being able to wield any str weapon up to 14 weight w/ the grass crest, and you can wield the BKGA if you wanted to by using a lighter shield.

I just made you a smough cosplay, but you can mold the armor to w/e you want, or raise the dex to use the BK str weapons. Good luck

Doesn't get anymore Tankier than this. Full Havel's + Zwei will make people cringe. Rapier used for when you can't trade hits. Pretty basic, but tank nonetheless.

 You say something there, because of the weight it will be a hindering in PvP, too slow when you trie to attack. How is the DGM in speed? Invaded one with it yesterday, but some1 else killed him before i saw the speed and the moveset.

dgm is actually one of the best weapon for a tank, its the weapon i use the most when i fat/med roll. try going for a 40 str build if you want a str tank, only go for 50 if you really want havel's shield which is the best greatshield in the game, i would go with 40 and get more vit and use the stone shield instead, its a very underrated shield and second only to havel's.

Replenishment and force are really super useful tools for a slow moving great shield holder. And the DGM is one of my personal favorite weapons (it looks so good, hits so hard)

400 defense is really when the dimiinishing returns kick in so bad it's not worth trying to go past it really, this is one of the reasons GiantsX3 is so popular, you hit the wall so to speak defensively while also maximizing your poise, leaving the head slot open for things like masks, Big hat if you wanna beef up your magic defense or even Crown if you yourself use spells (I'm lookin at an Animal)
