Could be a number of reasons .
The unpleasant Covenant Situation with the CoF, general tiredness of the Game, not being able to play with your Friends, the same PVP Ethics Debate all over again and i believe he said something about having Promblems irl .
Maybe something happened in the Chat but i don't know .

- I am, myself, seeing some problem with this forum. Well, not exactly problems as much as things that perhaps do not go well with everyone.
I, personally, stay only for a few choice reasons (One being that I love the Brony Thread and the Archives section.)
I feel like the PvP section has gone to places I do not enjoy it to be in, and a lot of other threads and general feel of the forum has gone down. Now, I do not blame anyone, but instead everyone and the fact that the game is two years old.
I do not want to rant in my dear friends Soris' goodbye thread.

I decided to come back when I feel the tone changes. For now it feels too off for me from when I joined till well May. As for what that tone is......all I will say it hits me as a negative.
