Or rather am sinning, if anyone feels to join. I'm in the forest on the sorcerer character i've been working on, and i've found it's not only useful for cheeseing enemy mobs.. The gist of it is, i'm baiting people into bowing, then hitting them with crystal soul spear. This must frown greatly upon my jolly reputation.

On a scale of scum to scum-lord, How scummy is this activity? 

Good source of souls for twinkling titanite, and that's all i need to sleep at night.

Anyway. Any tips on how to be a more effective indictment vacuum? This is really one of my first steps into PVP, and i want to get a little more creative. I've tried what i've seen on youtube, a video where a ninja dropped some prism stones and an item, then dragonslayer greatbow'd people off the cliff when they took the bait. Nobody came by though.

Really, this game is lawless, and there is no way to enforce rules on anyone. Everyone is entitled to duochebaggery every now and then.

You can pose as an NPC and see who falls for it. I'd suggest doing it as the bandit though. Shiva himself is supposed to be a see through phantom so a catbro veteran won't fall for it.

One thing a lot people fall for is hypermode bush.  If they pull out a bow, move quickly.  Otherwise they'll often just approach into lockon range even if they know you're fake, and it's almost impossible to dodge a high-dex CSS casting from a bush if you're not ready for it.  With RTSR and bellowing, CSS is pretty much a one-shot.

This is the reason I pretty much always have a bow of some variety, even if it's binoculars + xbow.  It's important to hit those bushes from well outside of lock-on range.

I agree. Those are some meeeeeeeean bushes.

This works 90% of the time as a Bandit. Just pull out a BKGA from your off-hand and one-shot them.
