That's the first time I've heard anybody praise this particular weapon. It's sitting unused and unloved in my inventory. Ah well, here I go again, another miracle weapon to spend my chunks on in the hope that all will fall before me.

Never used it myself.

But I see a lot of people offhand poke with it in PvP. It's damage on me has never been particularly much though.

I thought it was a piece of crap till I realized it was all pure magic damage, then I loved it.

Yeah its the pure magic damage that made me try it, and now I love it. Its going to end up in my ofhhand to poke with but for now its doing great in my primary.

I love its range and consistency. I don't know why so many are so down on it. Sure it's no juggernaut, but it plays its role exceedingly well.

If this is the Kings on NG I would say don't worry about it and pump up INT, if it's NG+ and beyond then maybe you should do something else with those points.

Its only NG. Ill check if I brought my +10 fire wep on this toon.

its like any other spear, its range is its power, not raw damage because you should be able to getr more hits in, what makes it unique is its pure magic damage, sad thing is most armors seem to have disproportionately high magic defense (there are what? 3 sets sort of weak to magic?)

because i chose the shield instead, now i can block AND fire magic missles!

I would use it except with my setup I have power withen so I use a pyro flame instead of MLBH and there's no way I am replacing my +15 Grass Crest Shield.
