Italicized Names?

Sometimes when I look at who's online on the Forum main page I see sometimes a couple user names are italicized for seemingly no reason.

Well, I pose the question to anyone who might be able to shed some light, is there a reason for it?

It means their online status is usually hidden, but you can see them if they're on your friends list

Oh i never knew about this.

So the only way to see if someone that is hidden, that is online still is if there on ur friends list interesting.
