But that isn't the point of this thread.
This thread is about what I plan to do to my school soon.
As some of you may know, September 19th is a holiday called "Talk like a Pirate day", where you, well, talk like a pirate........And also talk like one. It is also recommended that you dress up as one. Now, with this is mind, The Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster recognizes this as a religious holiday, as in the Church of FSM pirates are a central part of the religion. The government, likewise, recognizes this as an official religion, with people being able to wear pasta strainers on their head as religious headwear when they take ID photos.
This is where the fun begins. In the school, students are allowed to partake in their religious headwear if it does not cover up the face, such as Catholics during Lent and Jewish people with the Kippah. So what will be the schools reaction if a large group of around 40 or so students show up to school on the 19th wearing Pasta Strainers on their heads and/or dressing like a pirate?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS WHAT THEY DO. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM! WE CAN WEAR THAT STUFF BECAUSE OUR RELIGION DICTATES THAT WE MUST!
During this time I will also be going around preaching about the Flying Spaghetti Monster with a group of people handing out fliers saying things like "He boiled for your sins" or "Has your heart been touched by his noodly appendage?" We will of course be harassed all day for this, and must tread carefully as to not go past any school rulings. Otherwise? We are golden. Going to see if I can recruit any teachers to my cause tomorrow.
Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot
I know of no reason
Why the gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot
Anyone remember this line? If you do, good, because that is the quote that V from V for Vendetta says in the comic book and movie. Now, what is also coming up soon? Oh yeah........5th of November.
So how shall I celebrate this glorious day? I shall enthrall you with the details.
Now, in our school, every time the bell is about to ring, 30 seconds before it will ring during passing time or lunch it starts playing music. Students have the option to pick out the music that will play if they pay a dollar to the front office. What does this have to do with anything? Just wait.
Now, a few minutes before the end of lunch, a fight will occur. It will look like two students just started getting into a very one-sided fight, and out of no where, the lights will turn out of the cafeteria. When they are back on, up on the stage that happens to share the same room as the cafeteria, will be a man dressed up exactly as V! V will come down and stop the fight, and when the other person asks about who the guy is, he will then say this line........"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valourous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V."
He will then parade around the cafeteria, saying quotes and what not, and at the end of lunch right before the thirty second mark comes in, he will stand up on the stage again and say to the students "SO! Tell me......Do you like music?" and the song that plays in the movie when he blows up the building will start playing through the school speakers, while at the same time many people will suddenly stand up and put on a Guy Fawkes mask, standing at attention to the V that is now leaving behind the stage.
The latter obviously requires a bit of planning, and a large hope we do not get suspended.......but in the end, will definitely be worth it. I will be posting in this thread about how it all goes, and any improvements to the plan that me and my little team of accomplices comes up with.
And here is the link to the last time I did something like a prank to the school.
