Re: The God of War
Sorry for the double post but I thought it would be more dramatic to
just say his name. He's a man of immense strength, he hates sorcery.
He did make miracles but they were purely defensive, and they were
designed to stop sorcery, the thing he hated. No one has discussed him
as a candidate before. He fought by gwyns side but is a hollow meaning
he had the darksign before Gwyn linked with the flame. He was one of
the first if not the first undead. What do you guys think?

I'll equip fog and the sneaky silent ring and get as close to him as possible and clip through his helm to see his face.

I don't even want to try the Dark Hand on him, too many bad parry experiences with Havel.

Re: The God of War
Maybe the reason that the pendant and the sunlight medal have exactly the same description, and didnt get changed in 1.05, is because they are exactly the same thing. the pendant is simply a over worn sunlight medal with a chain so it can be worn like a necklace. which would hint that the player is actually gwyns firstborn. and the reason that Reah also has one would make a lot of sense, since she is related to gwyn thought Allfather Lloyd.

The player can be female, and the First Born is male.

Re: The God of War
Posted this in another thread, but the sunlight statue has a spear of similar size and shape to the dragonslayer spear, but with a head similar to the GLGS.
Wyrm- He's a bishop, not necessarily of the WoW. Oswald, for example, is a bishop of Velka.

I cant find the quote but Im pretty sure somewhere it says he's from WoW. Its too well accepted to have no proof.

For me it's a Dragonslayer spear, maybe different from the one Ornstein uses. I have a cosplay toon of that statue, Great Lord Robes and Sunlight Maggot, DSS and Sunlight straight sword. It's a very fun build, Gwyn's Firstborn.

ENB's Carim video mentioned that there was no evidence of WoW affiliation. I think...

Re: The God of War
I've only read the first page but I remember hearing something about Andre was suppose to be more important but ended up how he is now due to little time left before release date. He was suppose to open a door in a catacombs looking place but I may be wrong about what he was suppose to do. If I remember correctly it was one of EpicNameBros videos.

Re: The God of War
I noticed that the shaft of the dragonslayer spear held by the broken statue is very thin, compared to ornstein's spear, so it could also be a scepter.

He was supposed to open a door to the Kiln.

Re: The God of War
Really? That would definitely place him in God of War territory to me, after all the god of war has been to the Kiln before.

Re: The God of War
It would but do you think he really is the god of war or that the developers forgot to take out some of the clues they put in about him? Also I was in his church the other day and on the top floor behind the pedestal someone had written "divine".

Re: The God of War
It's Andre, look at his beard, same as Gwyn's. All his statues held god related embers. I think that when he lost his god status he was also cursed and everytime he died he was turned into stone and be reborn again, without memory of his days as a god of Anor Londo. It's a crazy theory but makes a bit sense.

I dont see it. Why would he turn to stone when he dies? Nothing else does.

And the divine blacksmith of Darkroot Forest he mentions in his dialogue is just him but he doesn't know that because he forgets.

Re: The God of War
Turned to stone? I don't really know why Dough, but I guess it's part of his curse for whatever he did that made him lose his god status.
