Fight Club (SWORDS) - Saturday March 17th - 8:00PM EST

I'm making a build with straight swords especially for this so I'll let the Golem alive in NG+, I could host too.

Great! It sounds like we will be in good shape for Saturday night. Maybe I will take a break from hosting at some point and fight also!

Got 2 younger brothers playing DS on ps3 and older brother plays on xbox :roll:

Grey-ronin is the brother that got me addicted to DS and i told him to join here for FC.

Your avatar is ironic. i cant host though, my pvp build wants nothing to do with flipping to ng+++ for that and ng ++++ for b town again. I'm way to lazy for that. esp because i pve in pvp gear.

I am officially out for Sat. I have to leave town that afternoon and won't be back until Sun. afternoon. Hope I can catch the next one. I will be on weekday evenings if anyone wants to spar.

Thanks for the offer. I think that Reim, Yasurrd and I should have it covered. If you wanted to move one there just in case that would be great, but I would hate to mess with your save files.

it was just a character i made for hosting anyways no use having 2 host in btown

I wish you could be there as well. It looks like there should be some new participants. It should be a fun Saturday.

I'll be attending my second FC event if you are looking for fresh meat. Though it will be later in the after noon (here in NZ probs will make the event start) as I will be the day after ST Patties day.

Perhaps we could join J4's Cosplay event with a fight club in the future as well? I say we have a painting guardian cosplay fight club!

Why restrict it? We could all pick our favorite NPC and have an Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny to determine who's the best NPC

I like that idea!

I think the cosplay should be as accurate as possible, though. I mean, if you know every detail of the NPC's equipment, then you must use it all.

Example: Lautrec: Full Set of Favor, dual shotel with a backup parrying dagger in left hand, Ring of Favor and Protection and Red Tearstone ring.

No NPCs doing ninja flips that shouldn't be! And every cosplay must have the same equip burden as the NPC they're emulating. So no fast rolling Tarkuses (Tarki? ).

Edit: should probably be a much lower level than 120, also (something between 40-70). And, although it wouldn't be 100% accurate, I think it might be fair to agree on everyone using elemental weapons, that way the damage output is balanced. Wouldn't have to be maxed, either. We could say base upgrade level, elemental path.

I'm open for debate on if we want full out clone builds or just very heavily influenced. Should someone picking King Jeremiah be forced to use all the Chaos Pyromancies, or should they be allowed to just leave it at "pyromancy is the magic type they use?" Should an Anor Londo Giant build be restricted to casting WoG and Heal/Great Heal, or should they be allowed to use any miracles? This would increase alot of NPC's viabilities at the cost of breaking slightly from the roleplay, but I'm not sure which would be more appropriate/enjoyable amongst participants. Like I said, it feels like something that should probably be discussed with everyone who's interested (though I'm all over the no-flipping idea ).

As for levels, I figured we could do something like finding which NPC would take the most amount of levelling to make an appropriate build, add something like 10 levels of free points to allow for slight personalization to that, and then use that number as the level. I have a feeling Smough or Leeroy would take the most points due to their weapon requirements, but I'm not sure what the minimum level for them would be.
