Dropping Coins down Wells

I believe that this was mentioned in Glyphblades thread but I dont think anyone actually did it. Has anyone tried dropping the coins down the wells in a specific order? And how wells are there?

You cant drop items into wells. When you drop an item, it lands right where you are. The only thing I think you can drop are the prism stones, because you throw them to the front of you. The only way to drop a coin down a well is to land at the border of the well, and that is incredibly difficult and is not a sure drop down there, as it may land right at the border of the well, where you are standing.

Unfortunate.

I'd still like to know how many wells there are. I've noted three: Firelink, New Londo, and the one in lower undead burg. Are there more?

I know you can get up on the rim of the one in Firelink if you jump off the nearby terrace and either angle or roll across the opening. Haven't tried the other two.

I've landed on firelink and used a prism stone. Got caught on the side.

You know...Has anyone ever fallen into the one in New Londo? With the Cov of Art ring on? What if that's a secret way into the Abyss?

Viral if by some miracle my idea is correct, I'll try some of the other wells too with the Cov ring and check. What if there are multiple ways to enter the abyss?

Wouldnt it be great if differnt parts of the abyss had mroe of the serpents?

OH **** YEAH! I'll actually try this now. But why through wells? Why would Artorias the abyss walker suddenly become Artorias the Wellwalker.

He should have words with Mario. Together they'd be unstoppable.

Maybe that's where I came up with the idea haha. Sometimes I do wonder where I come up with these things to test out. I don't think a single one has been right, but hey that's what searching is about right? Failure!

The one in New Londo I think it's unreachable, I somehow remember reading this on Glyphblade's secrets. Try anyway and tell us.

Everything, EVERYTHING is reachable. Hell, I didn't know at first you could fling yourself into Izalith and flying off into the lava, killing yourself, until I decided to jump on a ledge and got flung there from outside. Adventure!

Re the well in New Londo, if you can't jump in directly, perhaps someone can knock you in with a popup effect like the dragon bone fist or gravelord sword dance? I was looking in the old forum's secrets thread and it looked like ublug experimented with the two wells in Firelink and lower burg. Didn't see anything about new londo.

One of the roots leading down, there is a ledge and when you land on it you start sliding rapidly.
