Re: Sunlight and Darkmoon blades
what class of weapon do you usually find yourself using (sword, greatsword, katana etc?)

Re: Sunlight and Darkmoon blades
then one of those, for a GS maybe the manserpent gs cause of its nice scaling, b in str.
but if you're not an str build maybe a claymore or bastard sword. as for katana's depends on your dex and what moveset you prefer between the iaito and the uchigatana. uchi has an r2 thrust, iaito has an r2 quick draw attack, your choice there, note that i don't suggest the washing pole due to bad scaling.

Re: Sunlight and Darkmoon blades
Basically the fastest weapon you can get on your build.
Fast weapons benefit more from buffs so if you are a dex build, a straight sword of some sort or a dagger will benefit more than say a scythe.
DO you mainly favour dex or str in this build?

Re: Sunlight and Darkmoon blades
For a str build, Man serpent Greatsword, Large club and Demons great machette are good options, however, they are slow, so you need to buff and finish the opponent quicly

I think this is very very good advice if you go for strength weapons

Re: Sunlight and Darkmoon blades
My darkmoon was running slb/dmb on a +15 great scythe, even with only 25 dex and rank 1 of dmb r2 would hit for about 700 (also use a +15 manserpent) both weapons dead angle great and take huge chunks while buffed.
But as stated generally a fast weapon tends to do better with buffs.
