Ranged attacks in pvp

I wanna see if people use ranged attacks other than sorcery in pvp, and if they do, i'd like to know what they use and why, i don't think i missed anything right?

Avelyn is the only crossbow i would use, Pyromancy of course for Great fireball and if you like that type of stuff. Miracles, emit force is great, absolutely love it. I use poison arrows with bows. And Sorcery is all in its own category for mages.

I mostly use lightning spears for fun or to scare / intimidate people. I do keep a bow on hand but I perfer to get close and crush things.

One of my rare instances of using a bow, was ticked off already and crossing the rafters above the painting and someone invaded me, needless to say I had kept my dragon slayer and was on the other side...

Just remembered, I have used a bow on several occasions back when I started messing with forest convent folks. Fun times, fun times.

all 3 magics, just depends what build im using.

I think you can't compare sorcerie or pyromancy with other types of ranged because most people have a dex build with a ranged weapon or a mage build with sorecery/pyromancy so this poll would be:

Sadly this works- Summoned 2 guys, they had Dragonslayer great bow in the painted world. We cleared it. got bored, waited for pvp. They ended up at the bridge camping it. Throwing people right off the damn bridge with lance arrows.

Yeah, Dragonslayer is stupidly powerful if you can find the right place to use it. It also has the longest range in my view, it very slightly beats Pharis with feather arrows.

I'm trying to learn the ins and outs of Dragon weapons, and I have to say I think they are much more fun to use than typical weapons because of their special attacks and are severely overlooked at low and mid level PvP. I've been doing depths invasions (whaaaaat, Reaperfan doing invasions?!?!) with a Dragon Greatsword build and I gotta say that R2 is alot more satisfying to hit with than any spell cast could ever be. I'm also thinking of ways to use the Dragon King Greataxe since the Greatsword is difficult to land in open areas, but I still need to finish upgrading it (darn you Drakes and your low drop rates!)

And I only checked the Dragon Weapon Specials box, because even though I have other builds that use the other types, I use those builds more for co-op and I don't PvP much with them.
