Bloodstains.

Does anyone else have this (slightly sick, I suppose) fascination with touching other peoples bloodstains?
I will almast always pause in whatever I am engaged in, (telling the Firesage to hold on a minute) to see
what befell some other poor undead. Especially the ones in Firelink Shrine.

How is it that so many people seem to enjoy running straight off cliffs?

the people that run off cliffs in firelink shrine are dm's that invade while hollow in the kiln cause they're noobs and are scared of beign invaded.

Couldn't they run off the cliff in the lord vessel chamber.. I doubt thats what it is More likely people invading in new londo

I always check bloodstains. Sometimes they are crazy, people getting flattened or knocked up in the air. I've never seen anyone use a gesture in one though, despite all the gesture backstabbing that you see.

Well, not all the darkmoons are the same... I am always in human form and ready to invade or be invaded... I don't run off the cliffs just to go hollow. ( I know you didn't mean to generalize... Right?)
On topic... Some funny bloodstains are from people jumping into the well in the firelink...

Half the time when I look at blood stains the animation doesn't start, or maybe it's just because they are so faint but I still click on most of them

He's got a point, though. They're probably not all Darkmoons! But most of those people throwing themselves off cliffs are probably doing it on purpose, for one reason or another.

(A few of those were me, btw! I was trying to jump over those benches around the bonfire and land on the small roof over the stairs below--I made it!)
