Cosplay Builds

I'm just getting into the idea of cosplay builds, I wanna make a Black Knight build, a Silver Knight build, and of course I have to do Solaire lol, but does anyone know all the miracles Solaire uses? As for the knights, how should I level them so that they have similiar Vit and deal similiar damage to the real deal? I wanna make exact clones 0_0

I'd say thirty faith for Solaire is good. I know he can use the regular spear, and I believe he can use the medium one, but he definitely cannot use great lord.

You're gonna have a tough time doing exact clones, especially if you're going for similar health too. I would recommend figuring out how effective you can make the build, keeping the same parameters just not the exact same stats. For instance, Solaire would be a str/dex build with at least 20 faith to cast lightning spear, and a Black Knight would be a pure strength build that uses each of the weapons. Certain deviations will most likely be okay without messing up the feel of the character, such as taking Solaire's faith to 30 for greater lightning spear even though he only uses the regular lightning spear as an npc, or to take either of them to have a medium roll even though both Solaire and Black Knights move as if they had the fat roll. If you try to keep everything too specific you will end up with a challenge run of the game as opposed to a role playing run of the game :|

By the way, if you want the health of a Black Knight, it is around the 900-1000 range, for Silver Knights 400-500 range. Though, the Silver Knight health range is a bit, not ideal for PvP haha.

What you should do is unequip all armor, take 1 hit from them and see how much health is missing, then adjust your build to do that much damage. You can also see how many times he can swing the sword to get an estimate of Endurance, and the Wiki has the health values.

Also, decide whether you want NG or NG+, since I can OHK a NG Black knight(Backstab or Parry), but just wall short of OHKing a NG+ Black knight (1403/1500 Parry with Hornets)

I think I'm gonna go with NG+ versions of each build, starting with the silver knight. Here I go!

I think Silver Knight cosplay build would be the best because you get to use the best medium shield in the game (IMO) and either a spear that has divine damage or a buffable sword. Not to mention that you can also use the dragon bow for awesome pvp lolz

Are you using the Leo ring? It helps with parries since they count as counter-attcks.

Get a friend and one of you be Sieglinde of Catarina and the other Siegmeyer of Catarina lul.

I would personally like to see the Dark Knight build...just because I love their weapons, you could basically be pure str except for the 18 dex req for the heavy weapons. If you want to go for exact Vit then put the rest into End maybe for a higher item burden for hopefully quick rolls?

I like the idea of it though! I want to try the Belmont / Tonberry build first before I try one of these though

I use Priscillas Scythe so it wouldnt do any good.

With the Knights you cant roll, only jump back. Remember to walk part of the way then run at the host.

on the topic of cosplay builds, i'd like to try to make a balrog. longsword +10 fire, whip+10 fire, and pyromancy make sense for the weapons. but i have no idea what to wear to make it look like a balrog. suggestions?

You should do normal and buff with charcoal
Also, if you go by Tolkien's definition, all you need to do is make a pitch black character, equip hold hemmed and RoF since he describes the Balrog as a large black humanoid shadow. Jackson added the Demonic looks for effect.

I say make the char pitch black since with Gold Hemmed and RoF you can see your characters head rather clearly
