    Lost Izalith Empty Lost Izalith

I don't know what it is about this place, but it's got to be one of my favorite places in the game now. Once you get past the lava the ruins part of the place set the entire mood. I loved how the sadness of the game seemed to center in on this location. Even one of my long time friends in this game couldn't make it past this point and went insane.

It's just a wonderfully constructed area.

I died more times in lost Izalith aka Hell than in my entire playthrough with another character.

I Just HATE that place, and I only go there to kill bed of chaos, nothing more. And I still die more than I could remember. Don't know why, maybe because of my endless hatred against the demons or something, but I wish I could just blow everything there.

Eh, the bed of chaos fight was another gimmick fight. Hell, all you need to do is sprint to the boss, hit it and then die, and then run back.

I definitely would've loved the place more if the boss fight was a little more creative or disturbing.

Bed of Chaos... easily the most frustrating part of NG+ for me. Shouldn't be, but it was.

I guess some people have luck and others don't. Or no one in the world hate demons more than me.

I really don't know what it is. I loved Anor Londo as well, the level design in this game is just superb.

But the overall tone change from Firelink - Blighttown - Demon Ruins - Lost Izalith is amazing. You really feel like you've entered into the twisted heart of hell.

its supposed to be near where the vfirst flames spawned from yes? hence the primordial feel as you go deeper into the earth, totg (which has a nice view of izalith btw) is more remenicent of the world before the age of fire...
