spirits of vengeance

I just started a new career as a darkwraith and thought I would try the painted world. First invasion good, killed a Havel dork wielding a huge axe. Had my ass handed to me the next three tries. On the fourth, a spirit of vengeance also invaded.

I finally track the host down in the courtyard with the blobby spear chuckers, but there are three blue guys also in attendance. Believe it or not I got backstabbed while bowing.

Were all three darkmoons? Is this normal?

Probaly they were cursed by one gravelord (host). All three can invade at the same time

It's only supposed to be the Host and three other people isn't it? The limitations... HAVE BEEN BROKEN!

yes, gl cursed people invade as vengeence spirits, i think at max a world can have 4 vengence spirits (3 gl 1 dm) 1 dw and maybe a dragon spirit, don't know as i haven't found all of these in one place.

No, I have seen more than four people in one place. Once in Anor Londo, when their was two white phantoms with me to kill Ornstein and Smough, and ablue phantom and a red one spawned in my world. As well, I was once able to obtain two white phantoms in the forest (no idea how, the other white phantom spawned out of no where... I think it might have been a glitch their), and I was invaded by Darkwraiths and Forest hunters. It was... interesting. Athlough the second white phantom died instantly. it may say 4 players total, but I have seen five in one world in many occasions. Always mine, though.

I never bow first, if they bow I walk away and then bow.. I got tired of being played for a fool. If the don't bow I don't.

Thanks! I don't know that bowing to someone that you just invaded with the intent of effing up is honorable though. Courteous yes. Ironic maybe.

At any rate it is much better than sneaking up and backstabbing.

I always wait to see what their gonna do, if I'm far enough away ill bow but if they just start coming right at me I say screw it.
