Darkmoon Blade question.

If I get Darkmoon Blade then betray the covenant will I still have it?

I know I won't be able to use it, but I'm wondering if I'll lose it from my inventory?

Cause I want to be able to get Darkmoon Blade then Sunlight Blade then get another Darmoon Blade on NG.

It should stay in your inventory just like any learned spell/miracle/pyromancy.

Covenant items/Sorcery you won't get again. Their one time only.

Really? I did not know that.....well you can get two sunlight blades..and a DMB.

I attempted this before I was bummed out too.

I guess I'll just use Darkmoon Blade and Sunlight Blade on NG, 3 Weapon buffs is a little overkill anyway.

Cause I like to buy Cracked Red Eye Orbs.

Yes, but remember that the Darkmoon Blade buff becomes stronger the more rank you are inside the Darkmoons. So if you're +0 you will have 1.8 of buff but if you are +3 you will have 2.1 of buff.

At DM +2 the buff is 2.0 so there isn't really a reason to go to +3

I think this is what you mean:

@OP:

You can really only get 1 miracle blade buff per playthrough. You need to go through Gwyndolin to get Sunlight Blade, which means you can't use DMB and +1 SLB in the same playthrough... if you understand what I mean.


This should be clearer:

NG: DMB or SLB
NG+: DMB + 1 SLB or 2 SLB
NG+2: DMB + 2 SLB or 3 SLB
NG+3: DMB + 3 SLB or 4 SLB

And so forth...
