Very interesting, but I recommend posting a thread in the covenant section. It's easier for members to communicate. I like the large number of ranks, but your covenant won't be recognized by normal PvPers if all you members wear different sets of armor (I have an issue with this on my covenant).

Also I hate to say it but the Protectors of Lord Gwyn essentially do the same thing you intend to do except they are already established. Perhaps if you threw down a unique aspect to your covenant you could grab a lot more followers.
