How to Build a Succeessor to a Lord Soul

First off, a few things have changed and we have guidelines that we follow.

Gwyn Lord of Sunlight and his faithful Knights
Nito The First Undead
The Witch of Izalith and The daughters of chaos

Choose a deity to succeed and follow these guidelines.

Gwyn: Lord of Sunlight:
When choosing to succeed Gwyn you may play the role of Lord of Sunlight, black Knight, or his trusted personal guard. You also must use the kiln as your playing field.

Basic builds

There will be events hosted by the Sunlight Souls that place a high ranking member as host(Lord Gwyn) and his faithful knights (Black Knights or other special knights) against invaders at the Kiln.

Nito The First Undead:
When succeeding Nito You may play the role of Nito The first of the Undead, or a Gravelord servernt. You must use the Tomb of the Giants as your playing field.

There will be events hosted by Sunlight Souls that pit a high ranking member (Nito) and Gravelord servents against people in the Tomb of the Giants/Catacombs.

The Witch of Izalith
When playing the role of the Witch of Izalith, you may choose to play The witch herself or one of the Daughters of Chaos. you must use Lost Izalith as your playing field.

Sunlight Souls will host an event that pits a high ranking member (Witch of Izalith) with the daughters of chaos against invaders at Lost Izalith.

More Lord Soul Cosplay will come if there is a demand for it.

Unfortunately the Warriors of Sunlight cannot benefit this covenant. The very nature of the "sunbros" breeds heresy of our cause. We do not set out to create enemies with these golden jolly participants, however if they get in our way it is inevitable that they will be treated as a threat to the upkeep of the lord souls.

Could you explain more what your covenant is about? I've read your lore like 10 times and still cant understand what you do exactly.

We ensure That the Lord souls of our ancestors never burn out. That the Fires remain lit and the undead serve their purpose in keeping the God's alive. We have succeeded Lord Gwyn and reignited the cycle of the Age of Fire.

The Gravesworn respect you dominance over the Lord Souls. Siefer may even have one, but hell he's too batshit insane to remember if he ever found one.

Perhaps the Age of the Dead and the reign of the Dark Flame are not such different goals after all.

I like the lore for this one. Found other lords souls previously undiscovered.

That sound like most of DKS pvp. Unless I misunderstood something........

Its not so much about the reality od DkS pvp but what you can bring to it for personal enjoyment. I'd like to think that there are more awesome self resrictions and such like this that will make my pvp experience more entertaining.

I have to ask, what weapon do you have seipher using, an estoc? and do you 2h or have a flame or....?

On topic, I don't think you'll attract members without more specific goals than "kill everyone."

Actually there will be specific areas to target, but the information is still being determined by the Council of Lord souls. Sadly, I am the only one on the council so far lol! If you would like to join, drop a line and I will start a members list.

Currently up for debate, the areas in which a person invades goes to one of the Lord souls levels.

Lower New londo
Bed of Chaos
Kiln
Tomb of The Giants (Where the paladin invades)
Dukes Archives (2nd half)

We may also have in house sparring to ensure our jobs are met with success.

I am still working out details and will have them posted very soon.

That seems very similar to the POLG.

I think one of the fatal differences is that we are not protecting Lord Gwyn. We are in fact succeeding him. Our goal is to kindle the fires and return the undead to the asylum where the cycle of the Age of fire may resume. Remember that this covenant is largely based on cosplay of my interpretation of the lore. So while you are acheiving PvP victories, the real enjoyment of being in this covenant is the idea that you are cosplaying the link the fire ending.

I hope this clears up a little confusion on more than one level.

But on a serious note, nice covenant, nice lore. I like it, even though I'm not joining, mostly because I'm in charge of one covenant and partially in charge of the other, so I might if I got time lol.
