I dont know where to start in regards to finding a good recording device, so could someone point me in the right direction?

You could try checking out snowball Microphones for high quality recording, they're some of the best on the market. For direct in game speak I would just recommend a decent headset with microphone, though don't waste your money on turtle beaches. I take it you mean recording sound wise only? Some capture cards incoroporate sound recording features I believe, but I may be daydreaming again.

I already have a Hauppuage HD PVR so I'm just looking for voice recording.

Oooh, good choice of PVR, but anyway. Yeah, I suppose you should just get a good headset. Are you planning of recording your voice with the game or are you going to record it with a seperate device as you play and layer it onto the clip?

I use a Black Magic Intensity Pro for recording and yeah I use my Mic which I have already as it is for recording music :L

Both. I plan on doing both live and normal commentaries.

Then go for both. But seriously, there are forums dedicated to this kind of thing, you'd probably be far better off looking for help with this stuff there. I only know so much about hardware, and I reckon I've just reached my limit here
