That is the Chivalry thread haha. It is typically at night, around 8:00PM CST, and in the Blight Town pit near the bonfire before Q's domain, the area with the chest in it.

I'll give you a bit of advice on that, check out the For the Glory of Alvina thread. As well, turtling in the forest is a pretty bad idea. When facing two or three enemies at once you can only keep your shield to one, and you will be asking for a backstab.

I've been putting a fair few points into faith so I can get some more damage out of emit force and a finally be able to cast WoG. I might use Sanctus instead of Eagle so I can two hand a bit and get some healing. Unless Sanctus is frowned upon?

Sanctus gives you 2 hp every other second, tell me how much health you have and you'll see why it isn't exactly an ideal shield for PvP, I see it as more useful for Co-Op. As well Emit Force will leave you a bit wide open, but WotG is always a good option if you feel they are getting a bit too friendly and close to you.

Hmm, the last time I used sanctus I didnt have enough faith to use it properly so I figured I was getting less. Rethinking tactics time.

Some
advice to other hunters, before doing some invading get in a bit of a
refresher in the forest. Run a whole circle from Alvina's house past the
mushroom people, through the cat area, across the bridge, and back up
to her house. See just how fast you can do it, as well there are certain
ridges and items that can be jumped over but not run over, and without
proper timing and angles you'll merely hit a wall. This can be the
difference between surviving a fight or not. Even if the whole forest is
dead, it is still your ally. Another trick if you are using the DWGR,
the moment you land from a high fall roll. You can instantly recover,
you still take the damage but you don't have the fall absorption
animation, you merely roll and go on your way. As well near to where the
Pharis bow can be found you can jump the gap and land near to the
mushroom people. From here also you can wait just out of the fall
distance as not to get oddly staggered, and use force or some variation
to knock them off.

I'd say so, with a Parry you can drain someone of 50%-100% of their health easily. But, you'd want to practice them a lot first.

I am honored to become a merry man.....merrier man....maybe merriest man? I graciously accept the title "Little" in front of the name as well. What with the lore and all. I do use a stick.....with a really long blade attached. Honestly.....I'm pretty skinny under the armor. I used to use the Gold
hemmed set mostly but too many one hit kills made me change my mind. I
imagine crows might be just as terrified with the new look.
