Ranks of the Covenants

Ok, so, after some research done by myself and some other members on these forums, it seems we are all fooled by the "+3" ranking having no effect. Here is what is known so far for each covenant

Way of White
Increased chance of finding members in the way of white, princess guard, and warriors of sunlight summoning signs. Many assume secrets within this covenant, some think the true leader is hidden in the game and your only able to find them by using the White Seance Ring.

Warriors of Sunlight
Rank 0-Miracle: Lightning Spear and Increased chance of finding members in the way of white, princess guard, and warriors of sunlight summoning signs.
Rank+1-Miracle: Great Lightning Spear and able to offer the Soul of Gwyn, Lord of Cinder in order to get Miracle: Sunlight Spear
Rank+2: Unknown, possible damage scaling for Warriors of Sunlight's Miracles
Rank+3: Unknown, possible damage scaling for Warriors of Sunlight's Miracles

Princess Guard
Increased chance of finding members in the way of white, princess guard, and warriors of sunlight summoning signs. Also able to use Bountiful Sunlight and Soothing Sunlight spells.

Blade of the Darkmoon
Rank0-Blue Eye Orb and Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring
Rank+1-Miracle: Darkmoon Blade and Darkmoon Talisman
Rank+2-Darkmoon Blade Miracle Power increases to 2.0*Mag Adjust
Rank+3-Darkmoon Blade Miracle Power increases to 2.1*Mag Adjust

Forest Hunter
Rank0-Cat Covenant Ring
After 1 kill: Divine Blessing
After 3 Kills: Ring of Fog and extra dialogue
Rank+1: Unknown
Rank+2: Unknown
Rank+3: Unknown

Chaos Servants
Rank0:Pyromancy: Great Chaos Fireball
Rank+1: Unknown, assumed some scaling pertaining to the egghead
Rank+2:Pyromancy: Chaos Storm and Shortcut to Izalith active
Rank+3: Unknown, assumed some scaling pertaining to either the chaos pyromancies or the egghead

Gravelord Servants
Rank0-Gravelord Sword and Miracle: Gravelord Sword Dance
Rank+1-Miracle: Great Gravelord Sword Dance and increased Gravelord Sword Dance damage
Rank+2-Increased Gravelord Sword Dance and Great Gravelord Sword Dance Damage.
Rank+3- Increased Gravelord Sword Dance and Great Gravelord Sword Dance Damage

Path of the Dragon
Rank0-Dragon Eye and Dragon Head Stone
Rank+1- Increased Dragon Head Stone Damage
Rank+2- Dragon Torso Stone and increased Dragon Head Stone Damage
Rank+3- Increased Dragon Head Stone Damage and increased Dragon Torso Stone buff Damage

Dark Wraiths
Rank0- Dark Hand
Rank+1- Red Eye Orb and Dark Hand takes more humanity
Rank+2- Dark Sword and Dark Set and Dark Hand takes more humanity
Rank+3- Dark Hand takes more humanity

Alright, heres the goal, I want to fill in the unknowns. Its easy to tell, From doesn't do anything in this game for nothing, everything has a purpose. Lets see if we can figure this out finally.

was kinda the hope. Ive just been posting threads that are giving people missions to discover the truth once and for all so everyone can know. So far, the bonuses thread worked quite well, i gotta get my pyromancy thread together and post it over here as well.

Just tested Izalith with a Gravelord +2. It does not open for me.

Hmm, there was talk that it opened the shortcut in another thread, might be that someone reached CS+2, left via oswald, then joined gravelords and it still worked.

I've not had that open on my gravelord, and I don't see why it would open. Going on the resources thread.

how do you know the sword dance scales in power via rank in the covenant? Lost Izalith short cut if you are a gravelord? naa I think what you said TS is probably more likely.

@ Dx The Dances scale with covenant rank, I've tested it.

@Spetre The chaos pyromancies do not scale with covenant rank, I've tested with chaos rank 1 and 2, and the Great Chaos Fireball damage was the same (even the lava trails damage). I didn't test rank 3, although I will once I am part of your Protectors.

Havent had time to edit posts. The GL+2 as izalith shortcut doesnt work, was a glitch another player had.

Ok, id test, but my high level character is just an item collector for bb builds that i use to get up to 120. The egghead is connected to the chaos servants by lore, so im gonna test yhat if i can

haha cool!! I did not know that. I always level up to rank 3 before I actually spread misery so i never noticed the difference.

I tested it with the Egg Head too, it didn't make a difference in damage, although it was in stage one. Maybe it increases the damage as the egg grows.

I did get my egg to stage two and it kept seeming to grow on my body, as it started slowly making bubbles on my chest. I wasn't anywhere in the Chaos Servants though so I couldn't test it. I will be doing it later being thats just a Item collecting toon anyways.
