The blacksmith guy from Monster Hunter Tri was one of my favourites for no good reason. But my favourite would probably have to be Marcus Kinkaid(?) from Borderlands. His personality is the best!

The blacksmith in Sword of Vermilion who takes your sword and all your money and REALLY pisses you off. Later you find he made the best weapon in the game for you. WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST TELL ME THAT TO BEGIN WITH?

RES4 is up there for being hilariously out of place and being an appropriate creep.
But I have to go with the Brothers Grimm, Boldwin and Ed. Pricks, but always a welcome visit, especially Ed when I finally farmed a Pure Bladestone for the plat.

Yeah the Resi 4 Merchant is right up there for me. Probs my fav.
I also liked Kried Czherny From Valkyria Chronicles as he later becomes your tank pilot after the original one is killed.
I also like Dirk from ToS (Kratos too if you consider he gav Lloyd the Firesword).
