Half Life/City 17. Living there would suck so much. I mean, North Korean like authority, you are a jew and the combine are nazis, zombies and headcrabs, oh, and your city will likely be destroyed if a Freeman ever comes along.

Valkyria Chronicles Gallia. But that may be down the art/animations system making everything look so beautiful.
I really did like the Deep Roads from Dragon Age Origins. Looking out across the valley where you first see the Archdemon and staring at the Dwarven city was amazing.

Endiness from The Legend of Dragoon. Its such a rich, deep world.
Earth from Rage is possibly my most hated. its so boring for a post apocalyptic world.

Off the top of my head for favorite, Tallon IV from Metroid Prime. Though the World of Dark Souls is really high up there.
The world I hate the most? Probably the world of Assassin's Creed.

Metroid Prime, good call Tolvo. One of my favourite games ever. I liked the Chozo Ruins too and who could forget Phenandra Drifts, I can still hear the music.

Ineed, in general the Metroid series has a lot of great Atmospheres, but Prime is the one that just always sticks with me.

I think my favorite game world is Hengsha(Shanghai) from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, very excellent look and feel cause of how real it could be.

But living in fallout would be awesome! Losing all your hair, going through your waste to find food, being sunburned at all times and constantly being in internal pain, fending off monsters that kill you in seconds, and dealing with all the crazy people. I don't get why you wouldn't want to live there!
