by Rin Wed Apr 18, 2012 5:26 pmso i was waiting to be summoned and in the time i was waiting i fout why not look at the sinner list, one of the people has 4-5 places in the top 10 i look at hes toon and see the armour warn by the 2 clerics that went hollow in the the armour had its own picture of the set and was exacly the same...so how did this dude get the hold of it :|

That's the Cleric set, you buy it from patches. It looks goofy, but it actually has pretty great stats.

I like the Cleric armor. Granted the torso piece is a little goofy, the grieves are awesome. They're like chainmail raver pants.

i love that armor it actually looks pretty awesome with a slim toon, its one of the best medium armors in terms of stats.
@baline yeah, i really want the elite armor but im afraid it doesnt exist, i went around hitting everything in the catacombs and tog with a msgs devine +10 and nothing

the chest piece actually reminds me of an apron on slim female toons, and then i have the urge to hit people with frying pans... oh god... frying pan mace, would be sooo OP

Yeah the Cleric set has the best upgraded stats (All round) of any medium armour, even beating the Paladin set. Very few players I meet in PVP realise how much better it is than the other medium armour sets, and get scared when I tank trough a couple of hits with my poise intact.

Is it better than the Elite Knight set? I'm starting to pay a bit more attention to armour this playthrough. I tended not to bother with stats much in my first, except for sets that defended against status effects like poison, curse etc. I really must do more research. Honestly, this game has more depth than any I've played. Just when you think you know all the angles, something else pops up. I'm turning into a first class geek and I'm not ashamed to say that.
