can this be true!?

seen some comments on certain youtube vids is it true there are people with 99 boss souls and 99 souls of all other vairents!?, in theory doesnt this make new builds playable instantly? be able to get you to 120 on the first play through so you can just get into the pvp you love?

Uhm, I'm not thinking this through properly, but I guess if you repeatedly bb glitch it's possible?

And you'd still have to get through the main game. a good 4-6 hours of work if you're really fast.

from the looks of it its one of those get a buddy situations and constantly give them stuff :O.....talk about grinding...

That makes sense. A bunch of people give one guy all of their whatever until he has 99, then he glitches characters over and over and each person gets 99 back. This thread should probably be deleted so more people don't get ideas.

yes it is.

sadly it is not the case for firekeeper souls. Saddens me.

could be very usefull for making a new build for FC instantly!

I would never make another give what they deserve. But the idea of having firekeeper souls from every play-through I had with one character, instead of wasting and using them because I can not bring it with me, would be nice.

When youve completed the game 30 or so times and all you wanna do is rock out at the FC surely this could be very usefull?

I'm sure it would, however, I'd argue that playing through the game is what gets you to bond w/ your character. The PvE element is where you learn your characters strengths and weaknesses.

As far as how this happens... other wikis promote the BB glitch and had a team of people all gift these items over and over util there was one uber character. This person then BB glitched 5 new chars and gave all those items to five other people. Then those five people BB glitch 5 times and do the same... keep doing that and you've got thousands of people w/ mules that have 99 of every boss soul, every weapon w/ every upgrade path, 99 divine blessings, etc... I abhor the glitch.

if you try and use pve tactics in pvp your gonna get killed very very quickly i dont reckon id ever something like this just if you wanted to make a new build instantly and also be able host FC you could do it within 10 mins which would be pretty cool

Here here, It takes a few hours more, but you get a feeling of accomplishment when you earn everything you want, of course dont get me wrong, i can see why people would do this for PVP/Twinking/Min/Max reasons, but im more of a PVE player with role playing in mind. its really whatever floats your boat.

like i said after finishing the game more times then id care to remember havin one toon on ng++++++++ at sl 478 (legit) and pushing the pve aspect to its hardest settings im all about Eitha FC or hunting the guilty

I didn't say anything about tactics, I was talking about getting to know your character's strengths and weaknesses, as well as getting used to different weapon moves.

after much careful thought i think this topic should be ignored i didnt want to get into a morality argument with anyone i just simply wanted to know if it was true

After you have won this game over 20 times and more, achievement will come from speed runs, naked runs, pvp, doing new toons, lore and doing tests or trying to find new hidden things.

I don't think a person can win this game so many times to find items again and again without getting tired of it.

But anyways let's move along to another subject.

there has only ever been one instance in this game where ive had a problem with pve and thats my Knight who was pure melee and got killed very quickly by new game+++

I don't know... Back when we had the dragon head glitch, I could make a build in less than an hour (most of that time would be spent holding the square button...), but I never got attached to those builds. None of them are still in my character select screen. Was nice to be able to make new builds on a whim, but I think I prefer having to commit to a build, instead.

Depending on what I need to pick up along the way, I can easily level up a new toon to SL120 in less than 10 hours just by rushing through NG and NG+. Bosses give you all the souls you need to get to that level. The toon I made for Roulette Club took me 7 hours, because I needed nothing at all except to reach 120. My Mage, on the other hand, too almost 20 hours because I had to go to NG++ and be diligent about getting all the magic and pyro spells along the way (which you can't glitch anyways).

I guess what I'm getting at is that being able to create a new build in an hour just by spamming the square button cheapens the build, in my opinion.

(Also: 1 hour pressing the square button, then you still have to go through the game to open all the areas. I'd rather just go through the game from scratch--would end up taking the same amount of time!)
