Greatsword of Artorias

I was just in Anor Londo yesterday. I had the option to craft the Greatsword of Artorias from the Demon Great Machete +10, but in the wiki it only says: Broken Straight Sword +10 or Straight Sword Hilt +10.

It doesnt seem that I got the rights to edit this.

It doesnt say cursed on the the screen even though it is. It just says Greatsword of Artorias. You have to be careful because of this.

ive made the mistake of making two of the same swords because of this, had to do a fourth playthrough to get another sif's soul

So you can make it with the Machete then?

you can make the cursed one with the machete. same as ever fex I believe deathly was referring to the fact it does not state on the screen that you are making the cursed one.

yea the info is correct, sorry i was just stating that in game the only way you can tell them apart is in the stats when your acsending them at the blacksmith.
