Its a good idea but I think the dump files prove otherwise. Then again the server is a curved greatsword like his murakamo (is that how to spell it?). Its posible, but I think its morelikely hes searching for the chaos blade.

Lets assume the text files don't prove me wrong (nothing proves me wrong ahahahahahaha... nah lame...). Why would he want the Chaos Blade?

Yeah i mean its a blade used in a mysterious ritual of some kind. AS its a curved sword its origins may be Eastern, and who's from the East that we know?

Also it has a snake engraved on it. In biblical texts the snake is the betrayer, the corrupter?

Yeah, the form Satan took when he tricked eve. Could also explain why the assassins are after him. When the server becomes chaos it changes to heretical energies, maybe Shiva is being hunted for heresy.

Doesn't the text dump talk about cut content where you had to invade Shiva with a Black Eye Orb?

Already mentioned above.

It's possible the Server was placed there after the text got cut as well, meaning that the original intent was the black eye orb and chaos blade but it has been since switched to him going for the Server.

As for the sword.....It's always reminded of these swords

The Kora is the most interesting one as it was commonly used for either beheadings or rituals. I'll let your imaginations wander but what type of rituals use a sword that was designed for decapitating someone?

Also, these are all from India and Nepal. While most of the time "east" is meant to refer to China or Japan, India certainly fits the bill nicely. Claw weapons were widely used in this region. Shiva's has three blades which would be unusual but the handle is manufactured similar to a katar.

Maybe "east" is meant to reflect a much broader area than we thought......
