Hellllooooo? Have you seen the awful the robes are in defence they look really good with PG leggings at least take a look?

Its 8 poise armor. defense isn't really an issue, you'll be stunlocked and die if your hit anyways. esp as its just 40 points or so.

I will surely go with the paladin combo...
Only downside is that it is too heavy to stay below 50% weight Wyrm...
Can we scrap a couple of things if we have weight issues?

My dingy robe is ultra light and that defence is amazing for light armor at +10 so if I'm hit it never means instant death at all

I love the sets though!

Its not instant, but ar sees increasing returns rendering such a small defense boost almost comepletely irrelevant untill defense hits 250 or so. 90 to 130 wont mean anything.

Its not that I'm not considering your suggestions, Its that I considered the points you brought up in the first place, and decided to go a different way with my advice. Really, there are several things I'd have liked to see incorporated, but there are only so many slots and we spent 3 hours looking for the right combination of looks and stats.

I'll admit, the robes are the least viable, stat wise, but that was going to be the case for 8 poise armor anyways so we figured just go looks as your taking at least 200 a hit (more probably 4-700) in 8 poise armor anyway. And the moonlight setup is the best looking we came up with, imo.

I feel the moonlight set up is the best looking overall Forum...

@JK we aren't worrying about defense here. We tried PG leggings with the Moonlight Robe but it didn't looked good. I know there a lots of other armors with better defenses (Dingy, Maidens and Sages being the best) but I really liked that combo.

@Forum I'm bringing Brass again, I'll feel really bad if the Lifehunters don't get the official armor of the soldiers of Velka, I'll post a pic to see if you like it.

OK I noticed that most full 'light armors' (Dark, Thorn, Brass, etc.) have more than 36 poise when worn full. 36 poise is the sweet spot for almost all 1 handed weapons (except Ultra Greatswords and Great Hammers). So I tweaked a little the Dark light uniform (Dark Mask) and exchange the Thorn Gauntlets for Paladin Gauntlets, which with the mask removed, gives 37 poise and around 25 weight. Here's the Brass Armor with 37 poise. Hope you like it Forum and guys.

i think that the dark set parts in some of the uniforms could be substituted with thorn(?) until you get the set. dark is the set that is the hardest to get and i don’t have one yet
btw wyrm i still have some parts from your dark set armour and i think that you have my thorn and smoughs set

Can't find a better helm for the armor, because Gargoyle is now for Paladin armor.

On a side note: that light on his head could be a pain after a certain point for us...

One of my toons have it, it isn't so bad after a certain time. I forgot about the helm....I'll check it out.

I may have to include Silver Knight Gauntlets and replace Brass for them. They look too awesome with Brass Armor.

I'm sorry but I'm playing ATM wearing it wyrm attacks that would usually leave me with more than half health are taking me down to the last notch of health :/

Yeah, I know, but it's just for looks. They look better than the Brass Gauntlets, so that the Brass Armor doesn't look like full Brass set. Thinking about BK gaunts for the Dark light armor too. I'm still testing.

Well if you really don't care what armor is being used the Velka helm dingy/maiden robe and PG leggings looks good

Edit: As it needs 8 poise, any gauntlets makes the maiden/PG robe look awful, while moonlight robe looks good.

I like the brass picture but I still think we should just go with what we have now.

And of any of them, the moonlight setup is probably my favorite so I'm opposed to changing it.
(well i'm opposed to changing any of them now, but i'm more opposed to changing the moonlight setup than the others)
