Lol....Armored Souls, perfect. I was thinking similarly to Lord Souls actually. Maybe a throwback to King's Field games. I wouldn't be surprised if they went in a new direction. It seems Dark Souls was almost like a Demon's Souls remix.

i think since they have so many new fans they will keep souls in the title just because it will increase sales. Idk if anyone saw that ign article where they thought this new ps vita game with souls in the title was a new souls game, but it immediately got hype just because of that. i personally like Kings Souls. i just imagine a center hub similar to firelink or nexus and a bunch of paths leading to different castles/kingdoms with the final boss of each area being the demon/king of that kingdom.

Maybe Dawning Souls or Dead Souls? Or it could just be Dark Souls 2. One of the big reasons why they didn't name this game Demon's Souls 2 was because they wanted to bring it to the XBox 360 but couldn't due to Sony's rights to the name/series.
Plus, there are a lot of games with "Souls" in the title, so in order not to confuse their fans, I think they might just stick with the Dark Souls name for future titles.
