Best weapon for a dex/int build?

Hi, Im knew to the forum and on my first run though.
I was wonder what you clever people think would be the best weapon for my build (36 dex, 28 int)?
Also, are any of the boss soul weapons worth creating?
I have recently gained access to most areas, merchants....
Really scared of wasting my hard won ore and souls. Would really appreciate any advice.

You can take a high scaling dex weapon and make take it down the magic upgrade path, you can also take it down the normal path (+15) and use the magic weapon castings, crystal magic weapon is quite powerful if want to get your INT that high.

As for boss weapons somewhat, it depends mostly if they fit your style. The butterfly horn (spear) may be useful to you the most. I would advise checking the boss weapons out on the wiki to see what each one does so you have a better idea of what fits your own style.

Chaos Blade is worth it, if it's a weapon you're interested in, but I wouldn't go running out to make one until you read about it and understand it. Quelaag's Furysword aint too shabby either if you're into it anyways. Guess it's the same way with most of the other boss weapons anyways. Just check the Items page of the Wiki, look at the boss souls and it says which weapons they make then just click around and see what weapons you're interested in.

Managed to get the Iaito to level 13. Now if only I could find another titanite Slab...

Iaito or winged spear with a magic buff on it will work well and if you like and are good with them then more reason to stick with them.
You could try farming the wraiths in new londo they sometimes drop slabs.

Thanks for the advice, Maneater_Mildred. Will give the farming a try but still finding the Darkwraiths tricky. Pathetic at my level I know but only manage to parry them 50% of the time!
