Best weapon for this build ?

What would be the best weapon for me to use effectively with my build ?

Im stuck with using lightning claymore/zwei and then using man serpent great sword+15 and CMG

Edit: nevermind. You have 44 int so I'd say look into MLGS, MLBH and enchanted weapons. Enchanted pike! xD

i sometimes mess around with the MLGS but it just doesnt seem powerful enough imo.


would enchanted weapons really be good ? im running low on ore so i want to make good decisions when upgrading

The MLGS' strength is stunlocking.

splitting damage isn't always the best, but enchanted gear scales with int, and I love the pike to death. Another option is to use lightweight +14/15 gear and buff them.

Balder side sword is an awesome option for the 2nd option, so is ricard's rapier and katana's in general.

kinda confused, how come for most weapons lightning always comes out with a higher attack rating then enchanted or magic even if my int is high ? And how come people never use fire, the attack rating is even higher then lighting but ive only seen one person use it since ive bought the game

ease of getting it. You wanna deal with getting to vamos and upgrading to fire, or strolling to the giant and getting lightning?

Remember, it's mostly split damage so it's gonna be weaker than pure physical damage.

ahh that makes sense,

would the sunlight straight sword be a good replacement for BSS ? or are the movesets different ? and what about the estoc

try using the man serpent sword, imo its the best gs in the game.

The only difference is the heavy attacks. BSS are both stabs, the SSS is the standard longsword stab upward cut. The estoc is a beast when buffed!

already use it, with CMG buff my AR is in the 800s

Normal raw and crystal. Stick with normal >_>

That looks like a Str/Int build, why do you need 20 Dex? I would equip MSGS with 27 or 40 Str.

wasnt thinking when i made it lol, guess it was kind of a spur of the moment, there were just weapons i wanted to use when i was going through the game lol

i kind of want to use the black knight sword/greatsword/halberd. but i feel like later on these become obsolete.

would it be best to go with this or drop dex to 16 and throw those points into strength ? or should i take some a off from vit/end and make them fit into BKGS,BKH requirements ?

If you want to use a BK weapon then those stats are fine. Maybe sacrifice a bit of End for 44 Int.

i thought stats usualy "cap" at 40 ?

Stats like End, Str and Dex are better to cap at 40. Stats like Vit, Int and Faith are better caping them at 50. 44 Int is for Crystal Soul Spear.

Why the Lightning Zwei? That's overused use an enchanted one.

Much as I hate to say it, it's overused for a reason. Lightning is almost universally the lowest resistance on armor.

That being said, the magic damage on enchanted IS higher then either AR on a Lightning. Since AR uses Increasing returns, you might get about the same or better results with it...
