spirit of vengeance

So, I am a sunbro, sitting in a bright Anor Londo (human form waiting to help others with O&S before I myself kill them) and I get constant invasions by spirit of vengeances. I have no sin, killed no npcs, never switched covenants. No complaints, they all died with no worries on my end and I appreciate the pvp practice, but I guess my question is...
I thought Darkmoon could only invade people that had sin or indictments? Or in dark Anor Londo for that matter. This also happened in the catacombs before I could even light the first bf. Could anybody clear this up for me.

Have you ever invaded and killed a player on that character?

This happened to me once. I had just got into NG+ so I should've had no sin right? Yet SoV's kept invading me.

I don't believe indictments can ever be removed.

I have never invaded (on this specific character), only helped others in their quest to kill the bosses.

Is Gwyndolin alive?

I always thought sin can be carried over to other characters. Maybe you BB'd over your sin?

Gwyn was still alive. I had not even killed O&S yet. The spirit in the catacombs gave me 42k souls. Almoat double what it would take for me to lvl at like 60 i think.

its bad to talk about it but if you BB'd that toon that sin gets carried over

Ah, I did bb some soul of the... to make lvling quicker since my time to play has been cut down because of school. That would make sense then.

That would be it. While we're on the topic does anyone know if sin carries over to NG+? I think I read it didnt but Im not sure.

I think it does, only keys are removed on NG+s

everythign stat wise is carried on, including your sin, but players arent hostile to you anymore you can have sin for killing gywdolin and the fire keeper but in new game plus there all pally and ****, must be awful for them constantly respawning with amnesia :/
