It's your fault if I started a new one for towel day

I really need to get those bloody books. Curse my unwritten list of things I need to look into, I really need to actually write that thing.

Now, back to the topic on hand:

Towel day is magical enough for two threads Rynoa! Plus you surely noticed I didn't bring anything else up with it so yours actually it's quite different. What special things do we have planned?

I have a towel story that I never get to tell, so here it is. I was out with my boyfriend, and the tab was $42.42. The cashier laughed at that, and on the drive home, bf asked, "what is it with 42? I never understood that reference." I briefly explained and told him that I thought he would like the books, then forgot about it. About a month later, he left me standing in his shower, dripping wet, until I finally asked for a towel. "You don't have one with you? You should know to always bring a towel.", he said, as he handed me a new towel tied with a bow. I never asked how long he'd been waiting for the chance to gift me, but it was pretty sweet. And he did enjoy the books.

That's an awesome towel story. I posted a Facebook picture yesterday of my towel and the caption Happy Towel Day. My sister asked if it was a birthday present and how cheap it was for a gift of that's what I wanted. I didn't have the e energy to set her straight

Isn't it lovely to be understood? If I walked around work, wishing everyone a happy towel day or snickering at every 42 I heard, I would spend the larger portion of my day 'splaining myself.

At my high school graduation, the Valedictorian titled his speech, "So Long and Thanks For All the Fish". That was the first explaination I got and the last one i needed.
