Jousting Tournament

So after the next covenant war I want to hold a jousting tournament and I'd just like to get a feel for who would like to participate/host.

Rules
Shield: Wooden Shield/East-West shield (for the look)
Weapon: Pike or Winged spear (While any upgrade path is allowed fire works best)
Armour: Any although a knightly one is prefered.

Each person stands at an end of the arena then sprrints at the other before performing a dash attack. After your attack keep running. You only get the one attack.
Arena: Yet to be determined however the walkways in Sen's are a possibility.

The idea is simple as above. The shields were choen for their looks and low fire res. This way anyone can participate not needing scaling. In medieval times you wanted to hit the other persons shield not them hence the choice of fire wep vs low fire block.

If you've got any ideas or are interested just post. There is no date yet as Im still busy with the war.

Cstacomb bridges or Ceaseless bridge... imo it is a better location because the bridge is a bit wider.

Good idea. But as Serious said its funny to see people fall off. We can have 3 arena's though as long as we have 3 hosts.

ghows teh scoring system work?!, cause in jousting you get a point if you break the shield, and if you knock a man of his horse you win his horse, so how you gonna work that out?

Its just gonna be to the death. The challenge will come in trying to hit your foe just after his attack ends for max damage.

Yeah, I'd say knocking eachother off is the thing you want to aim for...

Would we say that having low poise for this event would be sensible to allow this to happen?

Actualyl it wont work since we'd have to stay under 21 poise and Id rather have some knightly looking armour on.

Hard leather looks pretty knightly, but has no poise

There are ways to work around poise limits haha, though in consecutive jousts would poise get reduced more? Or would it be able to recover in time between? (I don't understand poise well lol)

I think thats one thing we cant research.

Yeah, that's true, oh well maybe the consecutive hits from the charge could break a certain amount of poise...

should we all agree on lik one set of like such as Knight or balder etc?
