Great Sword Swing Speed

now it could just be me being crazy but the greatsword of artorias feels slower than the rest while the moonlight sword feels faster. Swinging the greatsword of artorias till stamina deplete took around 5.2 sec while the moonlight was 4.4. but I dont trust my timing of things so is there any backing behind this or have I just become insane swinging swords around ? :shock:

small point: this was all two handed

I'm not sure in the Greatsword of Artorias is slower than the rest, but the Moonlight greatsword is the fastest swinging greatsword. It can effectively stunlock forever.

Seems to be based off weapon weight >_>

Swing speed depends on the weight of the weapon, it's the reason why a BSS is faster than sunlight straight sword, or a dagger faster than priscilla's dagger.

Bandit's Knife and Priscilla's dagger have the same weight.

It's strange they have the same weight, as one is much larger than the other, and dragon weapons too are generally fairly heavy (then again MLGS aint heavy either)

Weapon type also obviously has an impact. A dagger swings faster then a caestus, despite both having the same weight.

It seems like every weapon is simply divided into categories that determine it's swing speed, and the greatswords are just divided into a faster group and a slower group.
