Sword Swing Glitch?

I've been PvPing for well over 1500 hours total now and I see it from time to time and never really get it. Where people swing their greatsword or greathammer or ultra greatsword or ANYTHING like their swing a balder side sword. I've had people tell me its a "legit" way of playing but personally I think it's for people who just can't play.. usually parry it anyway but I was wondering wtf is it... ?

Some say it's an intentional glitch. The first time I saw it they call it a spawn weapon glitch, where your claymore swings like a BSS. Few days ago we were talking about that.

In all my time souling I have yet to see this... and I really want to see it.

I've seen a spear swing like a GS but seeing as how that's a disadvantage I didn't get too mad. (Didn't stop the ******* from ganking me though) And 1500 hours!? That's really impressive OP, you're either dedicated or plain crazy :suspect:

I always write down the hours of deleted accounts and never delete accounts with high hours ^^ my highest hours on one account is my favorite secret build with only 250 sadly but he should have 999:59:59 when i'm number one in the book of the guilty

its a nasty glitch and anyone who claims its a legit way of playing is talking crap.
(maybe I am a little scarred by the guy in the forest who swings a dragon greatsword like a BSS)

Basically people who use the glitch can't play the game worth for ****. Unless they use a dagger with the speed of a great hammer. Then that's either crazy, stupid, awesome, or accidental, or maybe a mix.

interesting, i'd use this glitch to change the moveset of the glgs to the claymore moveset.

i love that sword but it has an awful moveset

I won't go into how it is done, but holy hell is this a terrible glitch. When you fight a DMB Demon Great Hammer with the poking range and speed of a DSS, you know you've experienced hell. It is such an awful thing to fight against, parry is pretty much your best option, that or kill it with fire/magic from afar.

I think this is pretty much the only glitch I don't know how to do, and I'm glad. FROM did a great job of developing the weapons (for the most), and I like the diverse movesets. Even though it would give someone an advantage, why would someone want everyone weapon to be the same as BSS? Boring imo

i thought it was only a visual glitch. i mean, you keep the old "skin" of the weapon you were carrying and the moveset, Ar values and stamina use of the new one, but it keeps the power of the previous weapon? then this glitch will kill pvp in dks...

Spear poks for 700 damage.

sound like a problem glad I havent seen it now as for a counter force off a cliff

i hope from fix this and the dragon glitch...
