Honestly, I'm not too invested in try-harding any covenant wars. I'm just here to have a good time and experiment with new builds.

If I wanted to do a try hard build, I'd just go in with a spear and wrath, stack poise, and use a rapier for BS and parries. That's not as fun for me though.

Oh god, please dont do that fun is like objective no 0 it is so obvious we dont normally state it personally I was gona try with the dark set a dark hand in each hand and a dark sword.

thats my set up, im hoping we get some decent action on sat im going to message every person i vade and say we are the darkstalkers and hopefully get them to check us out

shaweeeeeeeeet if you wanna head over to the main darkstalkers thread on the covenants section and have a looksie at the ranks and corruption and see if theres anythign that takes your fancy and if you could add some cool images to the original post cause i fail at that sorta thing thatll be AWESOME!

I'm also doing the dark set with dark hand and sword. I'm going to use the heater shield for parry humanity drains though. Good stuff.

You can parry with your bare hand. :o

You can parry with the dark hand more relevantly. however some people are used to using the heater myself included, fist parry feels a bit different somehow...

Well, he wants to drain their humanity with the dark hand. So, he'd have to parry with the bare hand. Sadly, you can't drain humanity with the dark hand when it's in the left hand. that'd be awwwwesome!

If you use the dark hand or barehand, you sacrifice the ability to setup parry. I want to be able to use setups and blinds. Plus, the Heater is super light, still has decent stability, and blocks all physical damage.

Set up parry as in you're holding down L1 and then press L2, then when you let go of L1, you parry? Yeah. I need to learn to do that, but I don't have a shield! hahaha! I randomly may take out my parrying dagger, but I'd rather have my flame in my left hand.
