No, but only because I have a steadfast rule: if it isn't comfortable I won't wear it. And wearing big gloves and an itchy hat is just not going to agree with my body.

When I was little with my brother and nephew we used to dress up and do "plays" which was no more than us pretty much getting in costume and running around for a bit lol. Did it for both Star Wars (episode I remake, lol) and power rangers.

the only thing ive done was dress up as a homeless person and sell roses for a play. although for holloween i dressed up as a post-apocalyptic-steampunk i had an awesome gas mask.
