Re: The Lore of the Covenants
Ahhh. And a war against the Stalkers could easily bring together the DM and the knights.

Sigh. All this talk of alliances and no MDoAP, MDP, etc.

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
Ahhh. Mk. I think I had the last dialogue.
PS: Push the alliance! I'll talk to Zack bout my points as well, as he's read all of Forum's argument. He hasn't seen mine. And I pushed him towards making the covenant in order to have the alliance... He joined the forum mainly for the covenant haha!
He's smarter than me. He'll take both sides and know what to do. even if I try to stuff my point down his throat, which I wont, he won't take my side if he doesn't want to.

I need to sort out the persona for my DM first. If I'm going to be in character it should be the one on which I am a leader.

I have a feeling a MDoaP is exactly what the knights and the deliverance should have.

Logically speaking, if they're unwelcome in their original covenants they wouldn't be able to use their covenant items...
Also chance at a home? There is no notion of "home" in Lordran, only survival of the fittest, one kills another before he goes hollow. The only way to be safe is to be the last one standing at the end of the fight.
But in the end this entire argument is just us taking this covenant thing too seriously. So what if it doesn't go with the lore? We can just make a reason up just for the hell of it for FUN. That's all really matters lets be honest, I don't think any logic should really get in the way of that inside a game world lol.

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
I shall celebrate his defeat. You need not regret his death, for he was a murderer. Countless dragons have died by his hand. I do not need the lordvessel, for my home is the Painted World. Where my queen Priscilla lives.
I mourn the death of a creature who had a full life. He did nothing against me, and yet I set him aflame. His screams will forever haunt me, as will every scream I have ever heard. I suffer for what I do, but I will do it for Quelana, and her sisters of Izalith.
What's it like, living in a world cut off from all others? Only to be contained with abominations?

It is my home, and the creatures that live there are my brethren. We are outcasts, just like our Queen. We sought out a world where we could be left alone. But some do not want us to have a peaceful life, and choose to enter our world uninvited. It does not end well for them.
Who is this Quelana of which you speak so highly?

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
I thought the point of being a part of a covenant was to influence the lore, not the other way around. At least, that's what history books tell me.
And yes Dough, I was thinking it would be rather fitting as well.

I honestly think that the most logical solution is to help you against mutual enemies but otherwise remain neutral to you. Any alliances would be hard to justify as almost all the covs here either sin or are associated with sinners. However if we were to ally then it would have to be with the knights as they are the only ones to not directly earn sin through invasions and such.
The guilty all pay the price in the end. As Seraph it is my duty, even more than my fellow blades, to make sure this is so. I care little for your politics so long as justice is done. Aid us in this and have our gratitude; hinder us and face our divine wrath. Your intentions may be good knight but expect no mercy if you protect a sinner. However should you be attacked by those known as the Darkstalkers know that I at least will be there. This is not for you but for justice. I shall make them pay the price for their sin wherever they may be.

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
We have a home and comrades. Our comrades are here with us, fighting so we can reclaim this land, fighting to reclaim the home of the gods. We have left our home for this purpose. That is how much it means to us.

Why not Dough? I thought the color added effect. I will use italics but I would at least like to know why.

You shouldn’t use blue, you can’t see the text without highlighting it.

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
The last master of pyromancy alive. I do not know much of her past, but what I do know only illustrates the suffering she ensued throughout her life. She was a sister if Izalith. One of the witches who could weave great firestorms, just like in the legends and myths. She is real. Then, her ancient sorcery of fire was lost when one of her sisters, or maybe even herself, created the Bed of Chaos. Pyromancy was born. She then taught the glorious joy of pyromancy to Solomon, the teacher of Laurentious. Do you know of him? He used to sit at the crossroads of many worlds in Firelink Shrine. Until he went hollow chasing what I had found. He could not find Quelana. He did not understand pyromancy for what it truely is. I don't even know if I knew before I met Quelana. She made me understand myself more than anything else. That alone made me a bette pryomancer. And, because of that, I can pay her back by serving her, and her homeland of Izalith.Spurgun wrote:JoeBroski09 wrote:I shall celebrate his defeat. Where do you fare from, humanoid dragon? For I do know you were not always a dragon, for Izalith touches everything. Chaos changed the world, you know.
