Problems reading threads from work

Today I have been encountering problems entering different threads from work. It seems to be 50-50 if I can read a thread or not. It often happens when I want to read Polls, then Im getting the message that the page is game related and is unable to continue further. :suspect:

Has anyone encountered same problem, or do you have any suggestions how to get rid of this?

I never had this problem on the old forum, so I guess it´s related to this new one.

Sounds like that your work filter kicking in. Happens to me all the time.

Did you have the same problem on the old forum too?

I tried using hidemyass but... they also thought about that.

I have the same issue, well, similar, mine though i can get to the login screen, but when i try to log in, my work filter kicks in and i can get no further

also, whenever i try to goto the home for this forum, the filter doesn't load any of the background or images, so its like trying to see it on an extremely slow connection

It is very likely that the forums are in a block list, and I wouldn't discount the ads playing a part on it too.

My work filter seems to be blocking everyone's avatar. o_O All I get is a broken image in their place.

All I can suggest about work filter is reading your works "internet usage guide" or what ever it's called. And maybe talking to either your IT department or who ever it the administrator. That is the only legal way at work to get around it.

Try using https:// in the URL as opposed to http://. In some instances a content filter can not interpret a site under a secure connection.

I gave that a go on my work computer here, for me that didn't work. It came up with a message saying "You are not connected to the internets!"

That didnt work for me either, it said something about a tcp_error :x
