Solaire is alive!!!!

some of you probably know this (wiki users) but i somehow saved solaire! i think it was from being a chaos servant for a bit. but now he's alive and i have the Sunlight maggot. so all is well! did anyone else know this? and what is it good for.

EDIT: ik what the sunlight maggot is good for, i ment solaire.

He's alive at the end of Lost Izalith if you take the shortcut that you open up from being a Chaos Servant. If you kill every. single. sunlight maggot, then he is saved. If you miss one, he isn't. Once you kill all of them, and then enter Lost Izalith, he's going to be saved... I think. You now have to go kill the Centepede demon, then he will be saved at the end of Lost Izalith after you kill the BoC. Then, you can now summon him *drumroll* for Gwyn. Though, I don't recommend it, since Gwyn is such an EPIC fight if you do it right

If you opened the shortcut and killed all of the maggots before beating the centipede demon, then you can save him and he'll help with Gwyn.

Aha! I love that band too. Been listening to them for 3 years now. I know almost every song by heart. My favorite song of all time is by them: Company Calls Epilogue.
